Hyori, Jessica, Hara, 4minute, and more attend ’2012 S/S Seoul Fashion Week’

The ‘2012 S/S Seoul Fashion Week‘ kicked off earlier this week with a bevy of top stars lining up at the SETEC to attend fashion shows by their favorite designers.

On October 19th, stars like Lee Hyori, KARA‘s Hara, 4minute‘s Gayoon and Jiyoon, SNSD‘sJessica, Jo Yoon Hee, Yoon Seung Ah and many more were seen checking out the collections of various designers. Fans were excited to see their favorite stars step out of their stage outfits and into something more unique.

Hara attended the event for designer Lee Suk Tae, and Jo Yoon Hee, Jessica, Hyori, Jiyoon, Gayoon, and Yoon Seung Ah for NOKHE J.

The event will run until October 22nd.

Goo Hara upset with her junior idols

KARA‘s Goo Hara recently admitted that she was a bit upset that her junior idols did not properly greet her as their senior.

During the most recent recording of SBS‘ ‘Strong Heart‘, Goo Hara stated, “It has already been 5 years since KARA has debuted. It’s a bit strange and interesting to see how many juniors we have now,” evoking laughter.

She continued, “But our juniors these days don’t respectfully greet us first and it makes us kind of upset. Even when we go to them first to greet them and say hi, they don’t really respond.”

KARA’s own seniors like Baby VOX, Diva, Lee Kyung Sil & Jo Hye Ryun were also on set and offered some advice to her problem that caused the entire set to explode in laughter.

Also on the episode were KARA’s Park Gyuri, Kim EZ, Lee Hee Jin, Diva‘s Vicky & Jinny, Kim Sejin, Kim Hyung Bum, and Byun Ki Soo.

KARA’s Goo Hara shows her support for ‘Invincible Youth 2′

The much-anticipated ‘Invincible Youth 2‘ line-up was revealed earlier today, and it seems likeKARA‘s Goo Hara is bubbling over with excitement for the show’s sequel.

On October 18th, Hara tweeted, “Wow! When was this! ‘Invincible Youth 2′ is finally open.” She continued, “I was having a nostalgic moment watching clips from the previous season of ‘Invincible Youth‘ just yesterday. I’m really happy that the show will be upgraded.”

Goo Hara attached a warm group photo with the original members of ‘Invincible Youth’, which made her fans feel nostalgic as well.

Netizens commented, “I wanted to see you on ‘Invincible Youth 2′ too“, “It feels refreshing seeing the ‘Invincible Youth’ members’ again“, and “I’ll look forward to Jiyoung‘s active role on ‘Invincible Youth 2′“.

Goo Hara appeared on the first season of ‘Invincible Youth’ back in 2010 and was highly praised for her comical role on the show.

L’Arc-en-Ciel’s hyde reveals he accidently confessed his love to KARA’s Nicole

On October 14th, KARA performed on Asahi TV‘s ‘Music Station‘ with their latest single, “Winter Magic“.

Rock star hyde of L’Arc-en-Ciel sat down with the girls for a brief talk session, and shared an experience where he accidently confesse his love to Nicole.

hyde stated, “I met with quite the predicament when I was on the show last time with KARA. Nicole was in front of me and I accidentally bumped into her. In Korean, I was going to say, ‘I’m sorry,’ but I instead said, ‘I love you.’ I actually didn’t know until a while later about what I said. I was really embarrassed!”

Nicole responded, “I was surprised as well to hear ‘I love you’ after I said I was sorry for bumping into him. I was wondering what was going on but just brushed it off, thinking I heard wrong and that he didn’t mean to say it towards me. I was surprised as well!”

Hallyu stars rank high on Japan’s calendar sales chart

Hallyu is reaching all sectors of the Japanese entertainment market.  Alongside the achievements made on the Oricon charts, Hallyu stars are also making their into the calendar market.

With everyone busily preparing to start a new year, fans are scrambling to purchase calendars of their favorite artists. According to Japan’s ‘Narinari‘, AKB48 is currently topping the Japanese calendar rankings with ‘AKB48 Official Calendar Box 2012 Cheer Up‘.

In second place is KARA with ‘KARA 2012 Calendar‘, which is comprised of pictures during their stay in Paris, France.  Jang Geun Suk ranked in third and eighth with ‘Jang Geun Suk 2012 Calendar‘ and with his SBS drama, ‘You’re Beautiful‘.  He’s the only star to have his name ranked twice in the top 10.

Hallyu is showing no signs of losing steam.

KARA performs “Winter Magic” on Music Station

Earlier in the week, the ladies of KARA revealed the PV for their upcoming 5th Japanese single, “Winter Magic.”

Earlier today, they performed it on TV Asahi‘s popular music program, “Music Station.”
