Recent HD photos of Goo Hara from SBS‘ ‘City Hunter‘ have been circulating the web, showing off close-ups of the idols face. In addition to showing off her porcelain skin, the pictures show how doll-like Goo Hara’s features really are, resulting in netizens calling her the ‘innocent doll.’ In the drama, Goo Hara plays a the role of a playgirl who failed to get into college the first time around.

After watching the airing of this particular episode, netizens commented, “She really looks like a doll”, “Her expression is too cute”, “Even her acting was natural”, and “She looks like a kid. She’s really young.”

            

KARA’s Jiyoung is 18 and sweet

KARA’s maknae, Jiyoung, recent selca has been gaining interest from fans as she shows off yet another cute side of her character.

On the 3rd, Jiyoung tweeted, “Sweet 18th?” along with a selca of herself in a hanbok. In the picture, Jiyoung gives the camera a closed fist along with comical expression. While it really isn’t the maknae’s birthday, her tweet was most likely in reference to the Korean drama, “Sweet 18.”

KARA’s Gyuri, Hara, and Jiyoung have all signed an exclusive one year contract with cosmetics brand, “Nature Republic“, to become their latest models!
On June 2nd, representatives of the brand revealed, “Continuing on from JYJ, Jang Geun Suk, and now Hara, Gyuri, and Jiyoung we’re looking forward to seeing the worth of our brand shoot up. We will continue to reach out to our consumers both in Korea and overseas with great products and marketing promotions with the KARA members.”The trio will be promoting in Japan, Thailand, and Singapore. They’ll be kicking off their endorsement activities with a new studio photoshoot on the 3rd for a natural skincare and toner line.

KARA becomes the Japanese CF models for ‘LG Optimus Bright’

LG Electronics revealed on June 1st that they chose KARA to be the Japanese CF models for their upcoming cellphone brand , LG ‘Optimus Bright’.

A representative revealed, “To celebrate the launch of our new ‘Optimus Bright’ smartphone in mid-June, we have decided to partner with popular girl group KARA because of their youthful and lovely image which complements our product.”

KARA will also be releasing a new Japanese single titled ‘Go Go Summer Bright‘ on June 29th, which will be used for the CM and be promoted at the same time.

The LG ‘Optimus Bright’ is the Japanese variant of the ‘Optimus Black‘, but with some slight modifications. The CM and print advertisements will be launched starting June 17th.

On May 29th, the actor tweeted, “Confirmation shot. This is Miss Ni who I adore so much. In the dressing room” and uploaded a picture he had taken with the idol.
He continued, “Miss Ni brought cookies she made herself and our actors finished them in exactly 0.7 seconds. But I hid one box for myself! I’m going to eat them when I get home.”
