Goo Hara visits her brother in the military

KARA‘s Goo Hara recently visited her brother in the military.

On an online community board, various photos were uploaded with the caption, “Goo Hara visits her brother.”

When her brother’s military unit found out about the planned visit, they decided to welcome Hara with posters that stated, “We welcome warmhearted Goo Hara’s visit,” and “Congratulations on your debut as an actress. We’ll always cheer you on from the back.”

A few pictures of Hara at the military base were also taken, but judging from the blurriness of the photos, we can’t really determine how excited the soldiers were about her arrival. It seems the photographer was quite excited or nervous upon seeing Hara.

Netizens commented, “The senior soldiers probably really like Goo Hara’s brother now,” “It seems they were very nervous seeing her,” and “Goo Hara is so popular amongst the soldiers.”

What worries KARA’s Seungyeon & Gyuri?

It seems like KARA‘s Seungyeon and Gyuri need some well-deserved rest.

On the September 26th broadcast of KBS‘ ‘Hello‘, KARA appeared as guests and danced to their recent title song, “Step“, which was recently released after the girls were away from the music scene for over a year. The show has a corner called ‘Release Your Worries‘, where the guests reveal various concerns.

When asked about their recent worries, Han Seungyeon replied, “I’m worried because I don’t want to move. I’ll do whatever it takes on stage, but when I get home, I don’t want to do anything at all. I just lay down and stay still like a corpse.”

Also, Gyuri commented, “We only get about 1 to 2 hours of sleep nowadays because of our hectic schedule. Maybe it’s because of my lack of sleep, but I keep forgetting things even simple things that happened just yesterday. My memory seems to be getting worse.”

KARA endorses KIA’s “Pride”

Korean automobile manufacturers Kia and Hyundai are some of the most profitable in the world. In North America, Kia is currently running a successful advertising campaign using hamsters but they’ve taken a different approach in Korea as they’ve recently recruited the lovely ladies of KARA to endorse their new “Pride” model of automobiles.

KARA’s Gyuri ends her role as a DJ

KARA‘s leader, Gyuri, will end her role as a DJ on the radio show ‘Shim Shim Tapa‘ on October 2.

DSP Media Entertainment stated, “Because of her busy schedule, Gyuri will have to quit the radio show she has been a DJ for the last year and a half. We do not know who Gyuri’s successor will be, but Shindong will have to work solo for the time being.”

Gyuri will be busy with her role in the musical “200 Pounds Beauty“ as well as her schedule with KARA in Japan.

In related news KARA has been busily promoting their new album ‘STEP‘ and has been placing number one on music programs for two consecutive weeks.

KARA reveals how they keep their popularity with male fans

Girl group KARA has revealed their secrets on how they stay popular with their male fans.

On September 22nd’s broadcast of KBS’s ‘Happy Together‘, the girls hung out with the show’s hosts, Ji Sang Ryul, Son Byung Ho, Park Hwi Soon and Huh Kyung Hwan. While together, they discussed KARA’s various techniques on keeping their ‘uncle fans’ happy.

KARA began, “We just call them ‘oppa’,” which prompted Jun Hyun Moo to ask what the age range is to be called ‘oppa’. Han Seungyeon shyly replied, “Any guy up to my father’s age is ‘oppa’.”

MC Yoo Jae Suk asked KARA’s leader Park Gyuri to show an expression to grab the hearts of their uncle fans, so she looked at Ji Sang Ryul and sent him a heart motion, which caused him to look a little flustered. This caused female comedian Shin Bong Sun to jokingly remark that she has uncle fans of her own, and showed off her own “aegyo” by wrinkling her nose.

Meanwhile, on this particular episode, Park Myung Soo insisted he watches every episode of ‘Happy Together’, and when he was challenged by Park Mi Sun (who asked him who came out last week), he laughed and was unable to answer.

KARA’s Jiyoung snaps a photo with her puppy

KARA‘s Kang Jiyoung recently snapped a picture with her puppy.

Jiyoung is seen with an under-eye pack on her face, while snuggling with her beagle in bed. Both the owner and pet look perfectly content, and netizens complimented the star on this natural portrait.

“I want to be that puppy,” one netizen wrote, while another said, “The under-eye pack makes her face look a little similar to the puppy’s.”

T-ara’s Soyeon shares a story about Park Gyuri’s warm heart

T-ara‘s Soyeon recently shared a heartwarming story about KARA‘s Park Gyuri.

On the upcoming episode of “Declaration of Freedom Saturday – Secret“, Soyeon revealed that Park Gyuri was different from other stars because of her approachability.

When talking about celebrities who are very cold or strict, Soyeon said, “Gyuri is not that type.”

She continued, “We have a senior-junior relationship because she attended the same high school as me. I was her sunbae at our high school, but since she debuted before I did, she’s a sunbae in the entertainment industry. She came up to me first and said, ‘Hi, sunbae. I’m Gyuri.’ I was really touched by that.”
